About

Oooooh I do like to wear a pair of wellington boots... So, I have been given the opportunity to take over the family farm, just like my dad did all those years ago and I've started by planting forty fruit trees in a quiet corner of the farm comprising apple, pear, plum and cherry (the 24 cider apple trees are two years to taste testing!). In order to learn how to do a "proper job" I am attending Brackenhurst to do an extended national diploma in agriculture utilising the chance to be back in education and make sure i can do as good a job as my dad has done and his dad before him... Let's see how it goes!

This blog will follow me through my days as an agricultural student, from practical lessons and classroom lectures to farm trips and demonstrations, its all about the learning and putting the learning into practice!
